Victor Anglin, MD
Dr. Victor Anglin, Jr graduated medical school from Howard University in Washington, D.C. He then completed his residency at Bridgeport Hospital in Bridgeport, CT. Dr. Anglin was one of the founding members of Chesapeake Hospitalists and currently acts as the group's dedicated night shift physician. He spends his free time as an ER physician and spending time with his wife and 2 children.
Jonah Ezieme, MD
Dr. Jonah Ezieme graduated medical school from the University of Louisville in Louisville, KY. He then completed his residency at Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans, LA. He joined the group in 2006 after moving here from New Orleans where he was a primary care physician. His wife is an Ob/Gyn who also practices at Chesapeake General Hospital. On his off-days, he enjoys his soccer league, playing with his 2 children and spending time with his wife.
David Fulp, MD
Dr. David Fulp is one of the senior members of Chesapeake Hospitalists and a rare native of the Hampton Roads area. He graduated from Eastern Virginia Medical Center in Norfolk, VA. He did his residency at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA and then went on to do his residency at Eastern Tenessee State University in Tennessee and Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. He is an avid golfer who spends his free time between shifts on the greens.
Patterson Lee, MD
Dr. Patterson Lee joined the group in 2005. He completed his medical school training at La Salle University in Manila, Philippines. He finished his residency at St. Michael's Medical Center in Newark, NJ. He then went on to be a primary care physician on the Eastern Shore in Virginia prior to joining the group. Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with his wife and
young son.
Gabriella Miller, MD
Dr. Gabriella Miller plays a special
role for Chesapeake Hospitalists, serving as our primary medical consultant
on the Geriatric Psychiatry unit where her presence has had a great impact
on optimizing care of those patients. She also contributes to the hospital
as a whole in her roles on the Infection Control Committee and as President
of the Ethics Committee. Dr. Miller is Board certified in Family Medicine,
having completed medical school and residency training at Eastern Virginia
Medical School. She is married to Dr. Thomas Miller (see below) with her
life outside the hospital focused on raising three children here in
Chesapeake.
Thomas Miller, MD
Dr. Thomas Miller joined the Chesapeake
Hospitalists in 1999 and became director of the group in 2003. After
receiving his M.D. from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Dr. Miller
went on to complete his training at Eastern Virginia Medical School on his
way to earning Board certification in both Internal Medicine and Family
Medicine. At EVMS, he also earned the title of “Mr. Dr. Gabriella Miller”
(see above), having met her there while both were in training. Dr. Miller
has been active in many ways at Chesapeake Health, serving on the Ethics,
Emergency Department, Throughput and Code Blue Committees among others and
also serving as the group’s representative to the Medical Executive
Committee. His life outside the hospital centers on enjoying time with his
wife and three children.
Marc E. Munoz, MD
Dr. Marc Munoz finshed his studies at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and then went on to complete his Internal Medicine residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL. He came to the Hampton Roads area to escape the cold climes of his hometown of Chicago, IL. Dr. Munoz was most recently a primary care physician in Norfolk, VA. He enjoys his multitude of hobbies that include computers, automotive and motorcycle mechanics, as well as the great outdoors when he gets the chance.
Nneka Okafor, MD
Dr. Nneka Okafor is board certified in Internal Medicine. She enjoys traveling around the globe when she is not on service.
Anna Rodriguez, MD
Dr. Anna Rodriguez graduated medical school from the Unversity of the East in Quezon City, Philippines. She then went on to do residencies in Internal Medicine at the University of the East as well as Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. She comes to the group after maintaining her own primary care practice in the Hampton Roads area. She enjoys raising her 3 children and spending time with her husband.
Noemi Romano, MD
Dr. Noemi Romano weathers the long commute back and forth from North Carolina to join our daily rounding team. She completed her medical studies at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, MD. She then went on to finish her residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. She spends her time with her hand-gliding instructor husband raising their 2 sons.
Kanwarpreet Saini, MD
Dr. Kanwar Saini hails from New York state where he also completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. Prior to that he completed his medical studies at Ross University in Dominica, West Indies. He and his wife enjoy taking in the local culture that Hampton Roads affords.
